Superb Design & Workmanship. Silent hunting bow.

Absolutely outstanding. The only "Closeout" bow available in the configuration I wanted was in a 27" draw length but it only took a few minutes to adjust the cams to convert it to 28". Super quiet as it came from the factory, no need to add silencers. Very handy & super accurate for a short ATA bow, great for ground blinds. I told one of my friends about my Expedition & he immediately bought one for himself & one for his father!

Smooth draw great back wall where has this bow been?

I have never shot an Expedition bow prior to this purchase. Took a chance and I am glad I did. The first thing I noticed was the grip, love it much better than most by far my favorite grip. It draws smooth for a faster IBO bow. Little dump but controllable. The limb stops are awesome. I got tired of the modules that you have to buy and limited adjustments on my other two bows. The Xscape adjustability is exactly what I was looking for. 30 inch ATA fits me and my needs perfectly. Good job on this bow get one while you can.

Great for the price, just not the suggested retail price

I was looking for a backup bow. I've had 2 previous Xpedition bows, the Mountaineer (definitely not my bow) and the Xcursion 7 HD (great bow, just could never get use to the grip). So when I saw this "$1089" bow on crazy closeout, I made the purchase.
Love the "X" riser and the newer grip (far more repeatable). Very good draw cycle and nice to see deep channels in the cams. Easy to draw, easy to hold, easy to shoot. There is definitely a bit of buzz after the shot. Perhaps, a stabilizer would take that away or at least damp it out a bit.
Surprised that the riser is lacking barrel nuts. The limb bolts thread directly into the riser. Not a terrible option, but not one I would expect to find on a bow pushing $1100.
Interestingly, there are blocks of some material that the limb bolts pass through before threading into the riser. Curious as to what functional purpose they serve?
For the sale price, this is a great bow; shoot it if you have the opportunity. At the original suggested retail price, the Xscape would most likely never have even made it into my hands.
